Every tonne is documented.
Raw-material risk is documentation risk. We accept material only against producer certificates, verify it at independent laboratories before release, and hand over the full paper trail with each delivery.
Standards we operate under
- ISO 9001:2015 — quality management system for import, storage and distribution of raw materials
- ISO 14001:2015 — environmental management, including bonded chemical storage
- ISO 45001:2018 — occupational health and safety at warehouse and port operations
- Libyan National Centre for Standardization and Metrology (LNCSM) product conformity
- REACH registration references supplied for all EU-origin chemical shipments
Safety data sheets
A GHS-compliant safety data sheet accompanies every chemical and polymer line, in English and Arabic, issued by the producer and dated within 12 months of shipment.
| Document | Applies to | Issued by | Delivered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mill test certificate (EN 10204 3.1) | All metals | Producing mill | With shipping documents |
| Certificate of analysis | Chemicals, polymers, cement | Producer lab, countersigned by SGS / Bureau Veritas | With shipping documents |
| Safety data sheet (GHS) | Chemicals, polymers | Producer | Before loading |
| Technical data sheet | Polymers, textiles | Producer | Before loading |
| Certificate of origin | All shipments | Chamber of commerce, origin country | With shipping documents |
| Pre-shipment inspection report | Break-bulk and orders above 500 MT | Independent surveyor | Before release from bonded store |
Laboratory verification on arrival
Independent sampling on every consignment. Material is held in bonded storage until results match the producer certificate within the tolerance below.
| Sector | Test | Method | Release tolerance | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metals | Chemical composition, tensile / yield | OES (ASTM E415), ISO 6892-1 | ± 0.5% of certified value | Every consignment |
| Polymers | Melt flow index, density | ISO 1133, ISO 1183 | MFI ± 10%, density ± 0.002 g/cm³ | Per production lot |
| Chemicals | Assay purity, moisture | Titration, Karl Fischer (ISO 760) | Assay − 0.3% abs. max | Per container |
| Construction | Compressive strength, fineness | EN 196-1, EN 196-6 (Blaine) | ≥ 42.5 MPa at 28 d, Blaine 3,200–3,800 cm²/g | Every consignment |
| Textiles | Staple length, denier, moisture regain | ISO 6989, ISO 1973, ASTM D2495 | Length ± 1 mm, denier ± 5% | Per production lot |
If material fails
- The consignment stays under bond and is not invoiced.
- A counter-sample is sent to a second accredited lab within 5 working days.
- Confirmed off-spec material is returned to the producer or re-sold as declared secondary grade, never delivered as prime.
